In this NFT raffle, we are pleased to present a special prize that is sure to make cycling and art enthusiasts dream. It is a never-before-seen NFT depicting the image of Gino Bartali, the famous heroic cyclist who left an indelible mark in the history of the sport.

The artwork was created by taking inspiration from the unique comic-book style of illustrator Sergio Toppi.

Toppi, who was born in Milan in 1932 and passed away in 2012, was a master of comics and illustration. His works are characterized by a distinctive style, sharp black-white contrasts, light-shadow, light-dark, full-empty, presence-absence, contribute to the construction and definition of interior/exterior space. Empty space does not exist, the white background is not empty space, it opens up openings, zones to be welcomed and told. The masterful effectiveness of white space, creates new perspectives, net, new spaces to inhabit and narrate. Figures, environments and atmospheres, inhabit that pure white space of the sheet, visible in both long shots and close-ups of characters.
