HAPPY 24 NOVEMBER TEACHERS DAY
The story begins in 1936 when teachers in the Acıpayam District of Denizli went on a picnic.
While the teachers are picnicking, he encounters a small shepherd boy grazing his goats. They invite the shepherd over and offer him tea and ask him his name.
The little shepherd replies in a timid voice: Hussein...
The teachers give Hussein the newspaper and ask him to read it. At that time, the number of people who could read and write was so small... The diplomas of reading learners are personally signed by the governors...
Hussein does not accept to take the newspaper because he cannot read...
Teachers this time ask her age and why she didn't go to school...
He replies 12 and adds: I lost my mother when I was 3, and my father when I was 11...
Teachers who chat with Hussein for a while realize that the child is actually very intelligent. They always tell him to read it... Hüseyin, with the support and excitement of the teachers he encountered, starts boarding in Denizli without money. After a while, Hussein is given a book in a mathematics competition he participates in. Hussein finishes the book overnight.
The next day he goes to his science teacher and says, "there's something missing in this book.”.. The teacher is surprised. Because the deficiency that Hussein is talking about is about the theory of relativism. Hussein realized that an important part of the theory in question was not in the book. The science teacher writes a letter to Nusret Kürkçüoğlu, the late physics professor who was his own teacher at Itu. Nusret comes to the following response from the teacher: "when Hüseyin finishes high school, he should come to Istanbul Technical University Electrical Engineering.”
And when Hüseyin graduates, he goes to Istanbul Technical University Electrical Engineering. Denizli orphan and orphan Shepherd Huseyin, there also does some work and his teachers do not understand his work. One of his professors said, "if he knew about this work, he would be a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston, USA. Dr. Morse knows' and sends it to him by letter.
Prof. A reply from Morse follows: "Hussein did this 5 years ago found a group, but it is extraordinary that Hussein found it alone. We will pay all Hussein's expenses, he will come to America”
The year is 1952... Hüseyin has been a high electrical engineer. Mom, Dad don't. The people of his village are extremely poor. A newspaper campaigns, and with the money collected, Hussein is put on a ship to America. Hussein faces Prof Morse at MIT. Morse will be Hussein's thesis teacher, but Hussein's English is not good either. He doesn't quite understand what Morse is saying. He calls his teacher “Write on the blackboard.” Prof. Morse writes on the board the subject that will be the subject of Hussein's thesis, and Hussein passes it in his book and leaves the University. Although thesis subjects can usually be completed in 5 years and 9 years at MIT, Hüseyin finishes his studies in 3 months and goes before his teacher. Morse examines the thesis a few days later and calls Hussein. “Your thesis is over. But this is MIT. We can't just give you a PhD here. You go take whatever classes you want and come back in 2 years.”
2 years later, Hussein gets his doctorate, this time goes to Princeton University. There he works with the famous physicist Albert Einstein.
A few years later, he returns to Boston to work at a firm that supports inventions. Here he conducts projects aimed at instructing them to talk to computers. Voice-controlled computer for the first time in the early 1960s Hüseyin Yılmaz makes.
In 1958, he identifies deficiencies in function theory as famous as Albert Einstein himself, with whom he followed his work closely, and informs him of this in a letter. But before the letter arrives, Einstein dies.
When Yilmaz publishes this error in a famous science magazine, the academic world is almost apocalyptic. Science divides the world into two, and Einstein's theory versus the Indomitable theory of mass gravitation also enters the literature. On January 27, 2013, he passed away in the United States.
The inventor of the voice command system in all programs such as Siri, Google Now and Cortana, which are used very popular in the world today, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yılmaz...
