"Da Mokupuni"

Da Big Island, it stay so grand

From da mountaintops down to da sand

Da lava flows, da rain it falls

Da sea, it sing wit' its own sweet calls

Da watah, it blue, da sky, it clear

Da trade winds blow, no mattah where you steer

From Hilo to Kona, da drive is long

But wit' da views, you nevah get wrong

Da culture, it strong, da people, dey proud

Da language, it sings, so soft, so loud

From Ka'u to Waimea, da towns all unique

In da melting pot, so much to seek

Da Big Island, it stay so grand

Wit' aloha, we welcome you, come take our hand.

Imagine waking up every morning and being able to just load up your car and go to the beach an bbq, Imagine being able to just camp where you want and fish (with no permits required). Imagine being able to just walk right down the road to a friends house or go right around the corner to your uncle or auntys house. Imagine fresh breezes under coconut trees and listening to the sounds of the waves rumbling on the black sand beach, rolling the pebbles along the sand with incoming waves.
