Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed.
“the chastisement of our PEACE was upon him”
The word peace in the Hebrew is “shalom” which means: well being, completeness, welfare i.e health, PROSPERITY, peace.
Chastisement; meaning correction of our peace (welfare: PROSPERITY). The correction of our PROSPERITY was upon Jesus in his suffering, before and on the tree. The correction of our prosperity was upon him. What is it that was wrong with our prosperity: our prosperity was destroyed by poverty as a result of the SIN of man at the beginning. Jesus destroyed poverty alongside sin.
This is why the scripture says in 2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might be rich.
So then if Jesus became poor that you might be rich, then the equation is clear. If you are born again, you are made rich through the poverty of Jesus Christ by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Bible also says in Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.
So if you are born again you are blessed. Even with the blessings of Abraham through Jesus. It is your inheritance.
It is written in Galatians 3:29 And if you be Christ’s, then are you Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
The blessing of Abraham is Prosperity, Success, Wealth, Riches, Greatness, Protection and good health.
This Prosperity is an INHERITANCE by GRACE through FAITH. It is called the prosperity of the Righteous.
There are two kinds of Prosperity. (1)The prosperity of the Righteous and (2) the Prosperity of the Wicked or Sinner. The Prosperity of the Righteous is from God while the prosperity of the Wicked or Sinner is from Satan.
