The title of the next wall-crawling arachnid superhero film has been announced. The movie's stars - Tom Holland, Jacob Batalon and Zendaya - announced it on Wednesday through an Instagram video.

Titles were initially teased the day before on each star's instagram page. The titles were all somewhat implausible - Home Wrecker, Phone Home, and Home Slice. This lead to much internet speculation until the recent announcement.

The film will deal with the implications of the last Spider-Man film, tying in also with WandaVision and Doctor Strange 2. These plot details, as well as the title, would indicate that Tom Holland's Spider-Man will find himself embroiled in a multi-verse adventure. Rumours abound about possible crossovers with former Spider-Men, Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield, as well as their villains. 

The film will arrive Dec 17, 2021 - unless the pandemic sees this date shift yet again.
