Previously DungeonSwap put much efforts on great details in Gameplays and Documentation. However in current GameFi environment, we noticed players are impatient for heavy materials and too busy to READ not to mention LEARN. And we need to adapt to this.
As a moderator, I cannot enhance Gameplay but the documentation could be our team's focus. So the first step of our simplification process is to refactor our Wiki. Let me show our work so far.
Several key points:
- Build it in type of "One Page Wiki". In this format it's easy to share and read. Including smart contract addresses, gameplay, basic HowTo and Tokenomics are all in one place.
- Internationalization(i18n). Because of one page, it's easier to translate into different languages. So far we have English, Chinese and Japanese. We'll expand to more languages which can bring good impression to the public and is helpful to acquire new players.
- Prioritization. Move "One Page Wiki" category to top level as the Landing Page of DungeonSwap Wiki.
- For advanced players. We keep rich context Wiki below for them to reference.
In development process, no matter it's a hardware or software we usually tend to ADD something new to the original system and hope it could be better. But actually REMOVE something can benefit as well both in maintenance and user perception.
