Earn crypto for renting out your hard drive.  

This one needs a little more care to manage, so before you rush in head first. Just stop and fucking listen. Prerequisites can be found here.

Storj can be run with a Raspberry Pi, Linux, MacOS and Windows.  I first came across this project last year and ran it on a Raspberry Pi 3b+ this was in the Beta stages at that time.  Now they have gone Live, I thought I'd give the Windows GUI version ago. Once you have authorised your token and got your Identity, Download the windows GUI installer from here


Dashboard.

This is where you can see how much disk space and bandwidth used.  Disk space is calculated GB*H example:- 2GB data on disk for 2 hour = 4GB used. On the bandwidth side you get paid for the Egress which is $20/TB you also get paid for Repair and Audits $10/TB

The payouts are staggered, The percentages shown is how much they hold back.  They do this so they can have a reliable network, to unlock the held amount you have to do a graceful exit, or wait for the full 15 months. It is someones data after all, call it a deposit. Payout is within the first 2 weeks of each month.
