The other day I discovered I'd misplaced my Ledger Nano S, hunted high and low for the little bugger, couldn't find it anywhere.  Didn't panic, but was pissed at myself for having to pay for another.  Ordered a Nano X £109, completely forgetting to ask for a code which would of brought it down to £87. Anyway that out the way I carried on trying to find the Nano S even went to the shop and asked if anyone had handed it in, nope, sad face.  On the way from the shop, I had a mad thought why not check the washing machine, cos, why not.  Low and behold there it was...don't ask, I have no idea why it was in the washing machine.

Well, The new Nano X arrived Thursday.  Little bigger than the Nano S but a lot easier to use, especially for my tired old eyes.  Installing apps is so much faster, well everything is so much faster.  If you are trying to decide which one to go for, I would recommend the Nano X, the Nano S is good for a back up and still a good hardware wallet in it's self.

Yes, I'm down £109 but I do have a brand new shiny USB looking device, plus I have a backup now...Bonus.  

The Nano X is more practical as it has Bluetooth, which you can turn off if you desire, the Nano X is powered but like the Nano S you can just plug a type-c USB lead in to power it.  Having it's own power source means you can use it on the move, having the Bluetooth enabled allows you to pair it to your phone and use the Ledger Live App while having full control over your keys.

I'm glad the washing machine fairies abducted the Nano S and forced me into spending £109 the Nano X is worth it, wish I'd gotten a code though.
