Lift is contributing to the DeFi ecosystem by providing incentives for equitable behaviour on the Ethereum network. There is currently 11 billion dollars in Total Value Locked (TVL) on the Ethereum network in DeFi with over 3 billion dollars of this accounted for by lending products. Lift is entering this market and growing the market by rewarding borrowers on the network.

Currently the DeFi network provides incentives for lenders in the form of liquidity provision, yield farming and lending. However there is currently no incentive for those on the other side, which is slowing the growth of the ecosystem.
