Announcement
Are you a FuseSwap user who has been looking for a more cost-effective way to add funds? Well, GNC on Fuse has partnered up with Coinbase Commerce to offer a presale on GNC for those looking to hold long term or want a more efficient way to move funds from the Ethereum MainNet to Fuse. The best part about this partnership is that users can also now directly swap Bitcoin for Fuse Native funds, using the presale mechanic.
You can head to the landing page here
Upon arrival, you will see this page.
You will see options from a single USD up to $100USD. You can also choose to donate directly instead if you would like to see the project grow into the future.
The top link leads to the Telegram Group Chat which can also be accessed from here.
There are options from $1 USD all the way up to $100 USD, and purchases over $10 will get a bonus amount of GNC proportional to the initially invested amount.
The Presale Price has been set at $0.008 per GNC which is slightly below our daily target price. Our official launch price is estimated to be between $0.018 and $0.026 depending on how Fuse's price goes in the coming weeks.
Once you have decided how much you want to buy, you will see a page that looks like this:
From this page, all you need to do is put your Fuse Wallet on Metamask address into the NAME field. Please provide a current and accessible email address in case there are issues with your order!
This is what your page should look like right before you continue to payment.
Once you click on "Continue to Payment" you will see the 6 payment options; Bitcoin, Ethereum, USD Coin, Litecoin, DAI and Bitcoin Cash (BCH).
From here, you can select which currency you wish to use. For this tutorial, I will be using Ethereum from my BRD wallet.
I am purchasing $1 GNC with ETH, (the wallet default is Canadian Dollars, hence the $1.27) Today it costs 0.000626 ETH plus the network fee of .002499 ETH which is approximately $3.95 USD. This is obviously not great if you are buying just $1 but now, if you want to you can.
Before this went live, the only way to bring funding into FuseNetwork was either by using the on-ramp in the app with a minimum payment of $100USD or you would have to bridge over your tokens. This on average costs anywhere from $35 to in excess of $100 USD just to add funding.
While this new solution is not perfect, it is a significant upgrade compared to the previous existing funding solutions.
Alright so, we sent our ETH to the address listed on the Coinbase Checkout page.
It took 8 confirmations and it is now showing complete! Great!
Now, because I manually pushed this through I was able to transfer between the two accounts right away. This process is yet to be automated so it may take up to 24 hours for your GNC to be deposited into your wallet.
We can see the transaction has been completed and the 125 GNC has been sent to my wallet. Great! You just purchased GNC from Coinbase Commerce!
Now, what can we do with this newly acquired GNC? For an introduction to FuseSwap, Trading on Fuse and the Liquidity Pool Rewards on Fuse. Check out this video by the Good$ News Podcast on Youtube.
