In my last article, I had mentioned that I’ll share another NFT project that I follow. After doing some groundwork and following this project for a little less than a month, I’m ready to write about it.
I’d also mentioned that I may consider doing a giveaway with this article. Great news! I have decided to do so and I will give away a total of 20 NFTs of my choice from this project. All will come from my personal collection.
The Giveaways:

My NFT Collection Criteria
How does this project fit into the 3 Criteria mentioned in my “How to Choose an NFT project” article?
We’ll go through these 3 points briefly.
1. Is it within my means?
2. Will it be a successful project?
3. Will the virtual properties (NFTs) be worth anything in the future?
My View
1. Is it within my means?
Yes! They have been doing free drops! Do tell; is there anything more affordable than that? Besides, many of the pieces are still very affordable at Atomichub.com. No telling how long they will stay that way
2. Will it be a successful project?
I believe they will be. They have already lined up artworks from a Peruvian artist. And, from what I found out, they already have other artists lined up for subsequent releases.
3. Will the virtual properties (NFTs) be worth anything in the future?
I believe so but my view is influenced by my consideration of the following points. However, you may arrive at a different conclusion.
- This is a very new project and the current release is from their very first artist
- Due to the limited exposure and less hype, many pieces of the paintings and cards are still very affordable.
- I believe that in due time this project will attract the more ‘traditional’ art collectors.
- Keeping the above in mind, I believe as the project gain traction, the price of these paintings will increase.
- And lastly, value, just like beauty, is in the eyes of the beholder. I love art as it provides me a level of satisfaction and enjoyment and a glimpse into the mind of the creator. A thing of beauty does not just happen. It is a carefully thought out and purposeful creation from a creator with a message to share.
Okay, enough of the suspense. Let’s get to it.
What is this project?
It’s called the NFT Art Museum Project. More details can be found on their website, Twitter and Telegram. Check them out for announcements as NFTArtMuseum holds frequent FREE drops! No telling when they’ll stop doing this, so you may want to get in early!
Who is behind this project?
This project is the brainchild of 3 friends (Yerzhan, Erick, and Angel) who are seasoned travellers. It is their vision to share the arts of their friends and other artists to the world. In short, to offer local artists a global audience. What better way to do this than through the WAX (Worldwide Asset eXchange) platform where these art pieces can be turned into Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) and authenticated through the Blockchain.
Why this project is different?
This is where this project is different from many ‘art’ NFT projects out there. They are, for lack of a better word, ‘traditional’ artistic creations than the nowadays, common digital ones. This is not to say there won’t be any in this project. I’d like to believe that it’s all-encompassing.
The Artist
Their very first project is called Other World consisting of art pieces from a young artist nicknamed Lalav. Her real name is Esmeralda Villarroel. Get this…she’s only 16 years young and has been ‘creating’ since she was only 4, winning various top prices for her art pieces in Venezuela!
Though Lalav’s creations are evolving, she was initially influenced by Jane Perkins, a British Artist who creates pieces of art through recycled items. This is exciting for all who follow her evolving artistic growth in this space.
The Art
In this Other World series, Lalav uses a mixed technique (acrylic and crayon) on watercolor paper and canvas for these featured paintings.
I’ll interject here to say that this article will end up being a “two-parter”. I’ll share the first-ever drop for the Other World series and then the next part, I’ll continue with the remaining pieces and the mechanics of the drops.
Lalav’s first art NFT art piece dropped through NFTArtMuseum is called the “Between Lines” painting. These artwork drops will be limited in quantity with the Common at a maximum of 1000 pieces and the most prized Mythic at only 21 pieces!
The Between Lines NFTs are available in two backgrounds and as alluded above, with different rarities.

The above 1st Edition, Between Lines Grey Background series, is the very first drop of this project. However, the grey edition has since been phased out and replaced by the 1st Edition, Between Lines Blue Background series with higher resolution, and in subsequent editions since then, a personal video clip from Lalav, the artist was also added!

Personally, I see a bright future for the NFTArtMuseum project. In my next article, I’ll go more into the mechanics of the 2nd Edition drops – the Aeternum pieces!
