BTC Dominance Update – Reversal Incoming?

Back in December 2024, I outlined a scenario where Bitcoin dominance would climb toward 64%, followed by a pullback into the 61–60% zone before resuming its move higher.

📉 As of today, that retracement has materialized.

Dominance just dipped into a key support zone around 60.5–61% — and buyers have reacted sharply.

So, the question now becomes:

Is this the reversal we've been waiting for? Is BTC dominance about to reclaim 64%, or even push toward the elusive 73.6% level?

🧭 Current Technical Picture

• BTC dominance is bouncing from a high-probability demand zone (green area)

• This level aligns with prior consolidation from Q1 2025

• First upside target: 62.31%

• Key breakout zone: 64.83% — break and hold here opens the path to 73.64% (historical imbalance)

📌 A large bullish leg toward 73% could completely suppress altcoin momentum in the short term — delaying any potential “altseason” further.

🧠 My Strategy

Nothing changes in terms of approach:

• I remain cautious

• I won’t blindly long or short anything without clear structure

• But this bounce setup is worth watching closely

If BTC dominance continues to hold this region and pushes past 62.3%, I’ll consider adjusting exposure away from altcoins and leaning heavier into BTC or stablecoin defensive positioning.
