I know it is not a fully developed country and it is not overly safe either, that is a fact and cannot be denied. But what I think is that when you behave like what you want to become, you are closer to achieving it. And this president Nayib Bukele, is certainly not an old-school politician and is willing to change the established norms, as he let the world know.

The Bitcoin city of El Salvador is still a project but it should be noted that it is a project of the administration of Nayib Bukele, for that reason alone should be taken into account. This president seems to have clear goals and it is not just a political campaign like all the others, full of false promises. To give an example, in February Chivo Pets (a public veterinary hospital) was inaugurated. Proceeds from the FideBitcoin fund (Bitcoin fund managed by the government of El Salvador) were used for the construction. The inauguration date of Chivo Pets was only five months after the presentation of the project.

In the presentation of the model of the future city, it was possible to see a project with large green areas, squares alluding to the currency, an airport and all the details of the plan.

There is a viewpoint that caught my attention because it will be built on top of one of the 170 volcanoes that El Salvador has. Specifically, it will be on the Conchagua volcano, which is expected to harness its energy for Bitcoin mining.
