This week starts with Bitcoin above $30,000 after finally closing a green weekly candle. We also start with the tech stock market on the rise and both are good news. On the other side we have a barrel of oil hovering around $120 despite OPEC's statement that it will increase its supply to the West and the new CPI announcement expected on Friday.
The bulls expect a decrease in inflation and that will help the Fed's measures to be less harsh in the coming months. The bears know that the objectives proposed by OPEC are so difficult to achieve and that the price of oil will remain high as long as the conflict in Ukraine continues.
Europe is going to have a harder time than the US because it is the clear loser in the Ukraine war. "UE decides to buy oil from India after cutting supply with Russia" (What the tittle day) is great news, but two news together makes it all better understood, the next headline would read "Russia increases daily supply to India from 90,000 to 600,000 barrels"( What the tittle dont Tell). After all, we are going to use the same oil, we are only going to pay more for it, don't worry (What tittle must say). When you go to fill gas I hope you remember your president and not me!
Interesting moves can be expected in the markets in the coming months. Personally, I believe that we will continue to decline for a long time because we are closing a great economic cycle of about 15 years, the measures that were taken in the 2008 crisis facilitating the flow of money. Now that we are going to see a real economy, one that does not grow at 20% per year, it is when only the strong will survive.
