What should i do with my AMPL?

I recently found myself in the Publish0x community and, like everyone else, I am accumulating the two tokens that we can make at this time. So if you are not going to help me solving my doubts you can scroll down and help me giving a quick tip. Thanks!

Doing some research on Ampleforth, what I can understand from the information I find is that this coin has a supply change to try to maintain a stable price. Every day at the same time the supply is readjusted to adjust its value trying to keep it at par with the dollar. It would be something like this:

-Expansion: In this phase the price of AMPL is higher than $1 and new tokens will be introduced into the AMPL economy at that time.

-Shrinkage: AMPLE price is less than $1, leading to token deletion.

-Balance: The price of 1 AMPL is equal to $1.

Here is when doubts arise and if someone could clarify for me, I would be very grateful.

Doubt 1:

If this coin readjusts the supply when the price is say $2 and thereby doubles the wallets AMPL balance so they don't lose power in the Ampleforth economy... Am i losing the opportunity to double my AMPL (thereby losing the greater advantage the economy itself offers me) having them without redeeming in Publish0x?

Doubt 2:

If this currency is targeting parity with the value $1. Why I find a post about price predictions? (all of them with prices other than $1).

I would like to make it clear, as always, that all my writings are based on the ideas of a madman who reads a lot of articles on the internet. For this reason, it is not recommended that you pay much attention to me and it is better to always do your own research.
