I don't know how everything is going in your environment and I wish you well. But around me, I meet a lot of people who, despite having continuous work, are not in the best of times. In all supermarkets, a person is begging at the door and it is not uncommon to see people rummaging through the garbage at any time of day. You don't have to be an expert investor to realize that something is happening. I am not going to discuss whether or not we are in crisis, although I think it is obvious, at least I think so.
What I do want to say is that if you are going through a bad time, I encourage you not to stop reinventing yourself. It is in times of crisis when you will have more and better ideas for survival instincts. Take risks and get to work on your ideas and invest time in them, surround yourself with people who help you and force you to improve, and don't stop paddling.
It is exhausting to row against the current, you feel that you are not moving forward, but if you stop rowing you will go backward. It is time to bring out your best version, "Show weak when you are strong and appear strong when you are weak" (something similar to what Tsun Tzu wrote in the art of war).
