Prepare yourself because you are about to understand in one single image why the EU has been seriously considering banning Twitter/X and why many Western media and journalists left or scaled down their activity on the platform.
The claim: Musk allows for ''Russian propaganda'' to flourish and effect the minds of our free citizens.
The reality: Obvious developments like the Biden laptop story are not abruptly blocked, the charade of labeling only non-friendly nations' media and journalists as ''state affiliated'' is put to an end, and what's more is that false and shameless claims made by Western state propaganda outlets and their mental gymnastics as to how nothing is their fault are tackled and corrected:
Imagine the audacity, the shameless tactic to mention Libya and its current impoverished devastated situation, without mentioning how they were once Africa's most developed and prosperous nation turned into a war zone for well over one decade now, after your own country's push for an illegal invasion. That's what Libya was you know, despite how many lay most of the blame on Obama, who was indeed weak and inept to either stop it or refuse participation, England around these times was one of the core reasons for destabilization and internal disputes among EU/Nato members, and I'm not talking about Brexit.
Which is why after Cameron got the US to jump on his wagon, immediately jumped off himself and thought it was a done deal and he could focus on the next atrocity he had planned. Which by then he didn't do himself directly, or maybe he tried but due to his already bad relations with Obama after the Libya mess got no result and tried pushing the bone-saw family of Arabia to mediate on his behalf:
But we're getting distracted from the actual topic. That watered down BBC headline and subtext is like a mass shooter complaining about gun control laws. It's watered down so much there's 0.000000001% alcohol left, it's so far out that if playing dumb was an internationally recognized competition we would now have our record breaking world champion.
It immediately reminded me of that 'who killed Hannibal' meme, you know the one where the guy shoots someone in a chair and then looks all confused and inquisitive as to why/how this happened.
So yeah there you have it. Not exactly the answer many were expecting considering the title question, but like the new disinfo format on X, it's a more balanced one. Why? Because Nato fanboys who still like to do their mental gymnastics and "explain" to us how it in fact is actually all Russia's fault, can still do their thing on X without the restrictions and suspensions their counterparts got under Dorsey, case in point:
