What's the deal with Kucoin's cringe new homepage?

Ahhh yes the good old "trust me bro" approach. Works miracles, especially regarding something that actually and quite literally started as trustless.๐Ÿ™ƒ

I'm sure the early core Bitcoiners can't help but to be drawn to this great new slogan and ad(?) or something of the sort they got playing in the background. The whole thing is just bizarre and cringe really. The previous plain and boring background was just fine and you know what, so was Kucoin. They're still OK I guess, especially compared to all the overcentralized trash that is out there nowadays, but the truth is that Kucoin too are slowly but surely being pressured to filter out non-verified users and even block all users from certain countries.

Bitmart did exactly that just last year and before that Binance just casually betrayed everyone and everything they once stood for and delisted all working and proven privacy coins and banned users who'd been with them for a decade.

Yes we've fallen a long way since the early days of Bitcoin, but who will step up? You know how piracy is back in nowadays and servers and sites set up in some remote area can continue to provide an actual working and yes, a fair service? IDGAF that some call it "stealing" or "illegal" considering the overly expensive trash that is streaming services which even changes the rules and damn near the entire collection on you every month. If buying isn't owning, then pirating isn't stealing, period. We need something like that for Crypto.

We thought for a moment that Uniswap would be the savior, but that turned out to be a heap of ๐Ÿ’ฉ after Uniswap, Aave and Balancer Ban Users After OFAC Sanctions On Tornado Cash

No, if we as a crypto community, as not just meme trading buffoons but as true revolutionaries, as those that are standing up for freedom, privacy and against authoritarianism are to make it, we need to learn from piracy, their tactics and their key figures. Learn from people who did not kneel down like the weak gutless filth we have all around us like Binance or Uniswap, but those who stood tall and were clever enough to circumvent their totalitarian laws and still give access to piracy for the people. That way crypto and decentralized censor free exchanges can give access to privacy for the people. Goddammit, I already thought of our new slogan: Privacy & Piracy. Take that CEXes.๐Ÿ˜‚

Things are almost never as they seem. If you sincerely think that world powers would spend their money and resources in order to just "help" citizens from foreign nations, you might want to ask yourself why they've been neglecting and out right murdering their own citizens for decades. What are their true motives for wanting to fund foreign (terror) groups, start global confrontations and wars? I'll let you in on a little secret; It has NOTHING to do with "human rights" nor "democracy".
