I learned long ago that propaganda works in 3 steps:

1. The preliminary phase: the event or country in question is mentioned along specific words. In my day when we learned this it was "WMD" and "chemical weapons" regarding Iraq. Now with Venezuela you probably heard the words "narco terrorist" and "drug cartels" and "fake elections."

2. D-day aka the moment of lies: When they carry out whatever it is they were hyping the public up for, in this case their illegal invasion and kidnapping. Basically the act for which they've been brainwashing you for the past months.

3. The justification: The aftermath in which they will claim they were right to do so all along and how much of a "success" it was. Now since we know how fake their claims are this means AI and fake news will play a major part in the Venezuela case. So if you wonder what this stage looks like, behold:

He shared Argentinians celebrating the world cup win in Argentina 2022 and said they were Venezuelans celebrating the illegal invasion of their country.
