First international dispute over Bitcoin is here

So remember how a few years ago in 2020, there was this alleged Bitcoin hack regarding 127.200 Bitcoins? Till just a few months ago, all we knew was that it either belonged to the LuBian mining pool or the alleged Chinese/Cambodian scammer Chen Zhi, and that whoever the hacker was he now had the 13th largest Bitcoin wallet.

But now 5 years later comes China with accusations that the culprit in this hack was the United States government and that the stolen Bitcoins were in fact from a Chinese/Iranian mining pool and had nothing to do with the so called Cambodian Prince Group scammers headed by Chen Zhi.

A Chinese state cybersecurity watchdog has accused the U.S. government of unlawfully seizing billions of dollars worth of Bitcoin, alleging the assets originated from a 2020 mining pool hack instead of being sourced from criminal proceeds tied to Cambodian businessman Chen Zhi....CVERC argues the addresses listed in the DOJ’s indictment of Chen Zhi correspond to those from the 2020 LuBian breach, citing analyses from Elliptic and Arkham Intelligence to support its claim that the seized funds originated from compromised mining operations in China and Iran.

Are they really this dumb that they actually incriminated themselves and accidentally published the mining pool's wallets where they stolen the Bitcoins from while trying to play this facade that it was "taken from Cambodian criminals"? I honestly wouldn't put it past their stupidity, that they tried to hack the Chinese/Iranian mining pool, portray themselves as heroes who stopped crypto scammers, but then now incriminated themselves by linking the Bitcoins to the LuBian wallets.

This isn't the first time btw that China has publicly accused the US government of hacking into Chinese ran operations like using so called "flaws" in Microsoft servers to attack Chinese companies, or hacking NTSC staff members.

But this is the first time Bitcoin has been at the core of these disputes and became a global topic. Ironic however that the culprit in it, is the same one who was trying to convince us how dangerous crypto and stable coins are and that we had to kill privacy in crypto because of North Korean hackers.🙃

Things are almost never as they seem. If you sincerely think that world powers would spend their money and resources in order to just "help" citizens from foreign nations, you might want to ask yourself why they've been neglecting and out right murdering their own citizens for decades. What are their true motives for wanting to fund foreign (terror) groups, start global confrontations and wars? I'll let you in on a little secret; It has NOTHING to do with "human rights" nor "democracy".
