The by now Twitter-suspended Bitcoin developer who made headlines not so long age after confessing to losing 217 Bitcoins, has now claimed BRC20 is basically just spam and that a simple bug fix would eliminate them.

Not long afterwards, his Twitter account got suspended after probably mass reporting by certain side(s) of the crypto community. Not sure if this is why though, but either way it hasn't gone unnoticed.
I honestly haven't been all that into this BRC20 craze since I've been somewhat distracted lately, and just like that: Bam, a whole new craze and market worth 500 million sprung out of nothing while I was out. This reminds me of that Lenin saying how "there are decades where nothing happens, and there are weeks where decades happen.” Oh well, too bad for me and if you got a head start into some good BRC20 tokens, first off good for you👍 and secondly, any advice?😁

So, who's planning to walk the talk? Who's in it for the long run and who are the people behind it? Are they actually reliable or known with at least some credibility? Or should BRC20 be eliminated altogether? Are the tokens indeed just junk clogging up the network and making fees overly expensive? As I understand ordi was the very first and that most are indeed just junk/memes but there are some rare exceptions who have big ideas, but of course are now just all talk since there isn't much they can achieve as they barely touched down, especially since as things stand the entire BRC20 future is uncertain. I mean, a "bug fix" to compromise half a billion in assets? While in the meantime memes are congesting the BTC network? All that doesn't sound too promising or revolutionary to me, it sounds like a liability.
