Anyone fell off the Bitcoin roller coaster these days?

Last time I shared what I was up to regarding my portfolio I casually admitted to not be messing around with the investment and BTC/Alt ratio, because I basically had no idea what to do and also because it felt suspiciously like manufactured fear. So I wouldn't blame anyone if they got out and hoped to time the bottom and make themselves some bear market gains, but if you did chances are you missed out and are now left behind in 19k land as the train is approaching 23k BTC. It almost seems like a bad dream huh? I mean it all happened so fast I almost couldn't keep up with the swings myself just for the purpose of staying informed, let alone trying to trade. At one point I thought 'oh well, there it is, the break below we all feared for so long', and the next day it was +21.000 BTC. What to do if you fell overboard trying to salvage losses and are now left with even more losses? Just wait and hope it'll fall back below 18.000 or just accept your losses and get back in before it jumps up to 25.000 BTC? Truth be told, no one can decide this part for you, it's a dark and lonely place and only you know the way out. These are the moments you realize all those "hey guys, Bitcoin is not looking so hot so I sold half my stack" videos, are not there anymore to share with you what they did next and how to recover the lost opportunities. You suddenly realize they moved on to the next topic and are discussing, IDK, Ethereum's merge or the next centralized dubious high yield site or whatever, as you're sitting there waiting for someone to hold your hand and help decide your next step. I can't stress it enough; Looking for info and tips online is one thing, letting some unknown borderline scam artist who makes sh*tty videos online shape your portfolio is quite something else. I know it can be tough, sometimes you listen to these people with half a million followers get all hyped up about something that makes you think you're about to be left behind if you don't act fast, only to find you already missed out and it's a slow but sure downwards spiral from the moment you got into whatever it was they were selling.

This definitely isn't meant to gloat or anything, because I certainly made my share of mistakes but because of them, I've pretty much done and seen it all and actually, it's precisely that which makes it almost boring for me now. I sometimes even envy my newcomer friends who get all hyped up about Cardano videos and foolishly jumping aboard at +2 Dollars per coin, or them good ol' XRP videos talking about how it used to be in the top 3 and will definitely recover and break beyond when that Xrapid stuff finally launches. Ahhhh to be young and foolishly get into some already well established alt, hoping it will take over the world some day. Those were the days huh?🥲 I guess I'm getting old, I'm just boringly hodling my life away. But that's good, boring is good, boring means no sudden rug pull or 🐄💩 scenario of getting locked out of your account which promised unsustainable rewards. Boring means no worries at the -80% YTD price drop because you were hodling that asset before it made it's +800% jump. So if you look at it from that perspective, being bored in crypto is a luxury many can't afford, IDK I'm just rambling I guess. So just consider this your weekly reminder that slow and steady wins the race and you have no one to count on but yourself. Not even the so called useless "authorities" who let the likes behind Luna and Celsius wander around free while Tornado Cash's developer is still sitting in some Dutch dungeon.

Things are almost never as they seem. If you sincerely think that world powers would spend their money and resources in order to just "help" citizens from foreign nations, you might want to ask yourself why they've been neglecting and out right murdering their own citizens for decades. What are their true motives for wanting to fund foreign (terror) groups, start global confrontations and wars? I'll let you in on a little secret; It has NOTHING to do with "human rights" nor "democracy".
