166 million dollars less in BNB
The Binance platform has just executed its token "burn" operation on a quarterly basis, destroying 3,619,888 BNB, or approximately US$166 million. This is the largest BNB burn ever recorded.
As a result, Binance has just entered its 14th quarter burn, breaking all previous records. In fact, a total of 3,619,888 BNBs have disappeared forever from circulation, which is equivalent to US$165,791,000 when the BNB was burned.
The total supply of BNB was officially reduced from 174,152,713 BNB to 170,532,825 BNB, which is equivalent to 1.81% of the total disappearance of BNB in circulation.
The number of transactions based on the number of transactions made on the platform within 3 months. As demand continues to grow and the number of outstanding NBNs decreases, this increases the price of assets.
The price of bnb currently stands at $41.05 after a 10.70% drop since the last 24 hours.
