Splinterlands made a man of me, and I don't regret one moment.

Originating in 2018, Splinterlands is a blockchain-based card game, where the trading cards are NFTs that allow players to own, trade, and earn their in-game assets.

For many of us poor peasants, there is unfortunately a small barrier to entry to many games in the crypto sphere (Axies, yikes)

Splinterlands is very wallet friendly, unlocking the ability to earn DEC (Dark Energy Crystals) and SPI (Splintershards)

Additionally, NFTs may be rented through the website's marketplace. Without this rental feature, you'd likely have to spend $100's on packs 10$ at a time to unlock quality cards. With the rental feature, I was able to procure a competitive deck for about another $10.

SPI earned through daily airdrops can also be Staked in the game to earn 205.21% APR. 

Games are fast paced and the earning amounts, at first glance, appear to be very generous.

The real income appears to come renting or selling cards obtained through gameplay and decks.

Time will tell if the lands or myself will be splintered the most.
