Over seven years fans had to wait for the sequel Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord. Now the medieval sandbox game is available in various shops as an early-access version.
Full scope: Despite the fact that Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord will be released as an early access version, all important contents of the game should already be included. This means all the elements that make up the classic Mount & Blade experience.
At the beginning of the game you create your own character as usual. With this character you explore the fictitious continent Calradia and work your way up Mount & Blade until you claim the throne yourself.
But until you join the big players, you have to earn money, expand your power and raise an army. This is not only achieved through violence and the burning of villages and castles. Diplomacy and trade can also pave the way for you, if not better.
This is what distinguishes the E-A version from the finals
Déjà vu! The biggest difference to the full version, which all buyers of the early-access version will of course receive, is the technology. By far not all environments and graphic assets are included in the game. If you travel to different cities and castles in the same region, it can happen that their surroundings not only look similar, but resemble each other.
Furthermore, Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord is not yet localized for all countries. So far everything is set to English. However, the game texts already support simplified Chinese and Turkish.
Quests & functions: Content not yet included include rebellions, creating your own kingdoms, and making armor and armor for your followers. However, all this is to be implemented in the roughly one-year early access phase.
Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord is available today via Steam, Epic-Games-Store and on the developers' website. If you buy your game in the latter way, you will receive a key for Steam. There is a 10% discount on the quasi release on all platforms.
