The costs of the Ethereum blockchain have exploded!! For several months, the costs on this blockchain have been climbing. Recently I wanted to make several small amount transactions ($2 to $20).

The fees charged sometimes exceed the transaction itself. They ranged from $1 to $3. Impossible to validate such transaction which prove to be severe losses.

So I advise you not to make a transaction with cryptocurrencies or ERC20 tokens. If you can, wait until the beginning of 2021 to see if the improvements that will be made by ETH 2.0 will solve these problems. The teams developing ETH are studying the issue. We will have to wait to see if the improvements they will gradually release will allow the blockchain to improve in the right direction. A priori, it seems that yes, to follow.
