Howdy, y'all, it's officially Singles' Day in the West. This holiday, like many other things, is translated poorly from Chinese, in which it is simply called 'Double Eleven' (双十一). You can still get in on all of the cheap online shopping goodness with Aliexpress. If you've ever used Wish before, think of that, but better.

The service and prices are especially good if you live in Russia given that China is right next door. I live in the US, though, and I'd say the service is comparable to Wish but the prices are better.

If you miss out on 11.11, never fear; there is another massive Chinese shopping holiday on 12.12 (双十二), so you still have time to stick a bunch of extra-cheap stuff in your cart!

In case you have never ordered directly from China before, put your ugly prejudices to rest; the quality of items you can get from China is actually superior to the quality of items you can get in the US at the same price point. Equivalently, you will pay significantly less for the same thing if you order it from China, and specifically here through Aliexpress. You do have to be prepared to wait at least two weeks for your package to arrive, though, assuming that you don't shell out for expedited shipping.
