The once-popular file-sharing app from the early 2000s LimeWare, is launching its own music-focused NFT marketplace. The unique about that platform is that customers can purchase NFTs with fiat currencies, not just with crypto.
LimeWare was acquired by Austria-based entrepreneurs in mid-2022, and now they have launched a simulation game that allows players to download music and films from the early 2000s. Players can search for and download as many as they want. The goal is to collect points, but if they download a virus, it's Game Over. But don't worry it's just a game, and there aren't any real viruses. You can recognize the viruses easily - just watch out for .exe files, overly large files, or corrupt file names.
The game will be available until May 15, and the top 1000 players will be rewarded with LimeWire’s upcoming ERC-20 token, LWMR. There is also Public Sale scheduled on May 2-nd 2023.
