As the day draws to a close
I look out the window,
At dark sky dotted with stars
And wonder, "What happened?"
Where did the time go?
Today went by in a flash,
But so did last week
The past month, even year.
What did I do the entire day?
Have I been productive?
Have I been good to others?
And be a positive energy?
I've probably been mean
Argued with some people,
Caused grief to others
And went on my merry way.
