Sitting at my desk
Stifling a yawn again,
Trying to keep eyes open
To complete my work.
Hear, mind and body
All want to get rest,
But it's not coming
At least not for 1 more hour.
What a struggle it is
To keep myself awake,
Finish the tasks on hand
And wrap up for tonight.
Can't wait to log out
I am so very tired,
Falling asleep as I type
I better bid you, "Goodnight".
