Time is Precious

Suddenly caught up with work
Unexpectedly, I would say,
Making me rush and rush
Unnecessarily, I would say.

Now my schedule's bust
Just cos someone's tardy,
Causing me so much trouble
For not doing his work timely.

And now I'm extremely tired
Missed my afternoon nap, I did,
Trying to force my eyes open
You'd think it's funny, indeed.

But I ain't amused, I'm not
In a way, played by others,
Turning life topsy turvy
I want to roll under covers.
