Under a week to
The last day of 2021,
Not even seven days
To New Year 2022.
I'm running this race
Like a full marathon,
Reaching the end but
On the verge of collapse.
Crashing on the ground
I know soon I will be,
Who will see or laugh
Should I even care?
Breakdown, burnout, whatever
Running out of energy,
That's what I experience
Yawn, need to roll in bed.
