You’re just wasting time,
Trying to change my mind.
You would like acceptance,
I’m sick of your persistence.
We can never be a pair ---
I’m not willing to share
With another woman.
This is just inhuman!
Return to your former life,
Waiting is your wife,
A wonderful person,
Who, in this, is innocent.
I’d rather be an old maid,
Without a mate,
Than be your mistress,
And labeled an adulteress.
