Purge

Once in a while, remove the bad
Keep the good and nurture them
There really is no need to be sad
Clear my throat, spit out like phlegm.

Never let my emotions sway
Anyway, on the wall is the writing,
The rotten needs to be thrown away
To make space for good tiding.

Don't worry, everything will be fine
The negativity will be reversed,
There's no place or time to whine
Things could have been worse.

And so, this is the time to purge
Get it out of the system right now,
Don't let those feelings submerge
I'll never let them I have vowed.
