Our neighbor is nosy,
Although we’re not at all noisy.
She peeps out from her window;
Perhaps her thinking is shallow.
We’ve a normal existence,
Don’t need her acceptance.
To her rules, we’ll not adhere,
Or are we leaving here.
Though we love our home,
That we’re put through a comb,
By this lady in the neighborhood,
Gives us an awful mood.
We’re always planning,
Move about as swift as lightning.
Her curiosity, difficult to tolerate,
Doesn’t seem to abate.
