It's cold and dark out there
And so is it in here,
I need a change of scene
One that lifts my mood.
There's no true friendship
It's something so elusive,
Only in my imagination
Or exists in fantasy.
Let's go to a place
Where everyone's genuine,
Who are true to us
And have our backs.
Somewhere brighter
And a whole lot warmer
Where there's more love
And no hostility at all.
