When I compare my life
With those of my peers,
I really have no excuse
To not make it like them.
Blame it on my lazy bones
Sleep when others work,
Slow when others are fast
Play when they slog.
Take things lightly many a time
Not being serious about things,
Until it's wayyy too late
And there's no use crying.
Buck up, I tell myself
It's still not too late now,
But there's no guarantee
That time will wait forever.
