The heart is willing
But the mind is not;
The body is tired
The spirit lethargic.
Once a while it happens
And I hide deep within;
Hoping for it to pass
And it will but when?
There are times I feel so
It's happening more often;
When the days are long
And nights too short.
So I take a long rest
And hope for better days,
When energy is back
And restart with vigor.
