A lazy Sunday it is
Only in my dreams,
As I slog another day
Weekend can't redeem.
Now in horizontal mode
The day draws to a close,
A new dawn will come
After just one more doze.
A new day I don't want
More headache, extra work,
As the week drags on
I go mentally berserk.
Time rolls on no matter what
Forward and onward,
We move on and on
Regardless of what we want.
