The weekend's approaching
Not looking forward to it,
Because it means work
Drowning up to my nose.
What can I do tomorrow?
Can I just go away like that,
Hide from responsibilities
Just "poof" from earth?
My eyes are drooping
My mouth keeps yawning,
Much as I'd like to continue
I can't, just can't anymore.
Gonna crash in my bed soon
A knock-out moment waiting,
Gonna shut off till the morn
And start hustling all over again.
