With the fan overhead
Full blast blowing at me,
Trying to check in now
To a land called Dreamville.
But a noise on the outside
Pierces my ears and mind,
Making me unable to sleep
But floating in and out only.
It'll be bad come morning
As I struggle to cope,
With the daily challenges
While beating a hangover.
Where's my drink, eh?
Who took it from me?
Just one more sip I need
To knock me out finally.
