Wait just a little more
Even though it's been long,
Another day or is it month
Keep the faith strong.

Paste a smile on my face
And go about the day,
Nothing happened, really
Is what I always say.

The time will come
Though not guaranteed;
Nothing in life is anyway
That's what we've agreed.

No matter how long
Length of time unknown,
I'll stay and wait for you
As I pass my days alone.
