It'll Come

By emily2u | From the Heart | 3 Dec 2021

Counting the minutes
To the moment of freedom,
Back to the old days
When time was my own.

It'll be mine once more
I'm reclaiming it finally
Negativity out the door
That's its spot rightfully.

It can't come soon enough
Four weeks like a lifetime,
Every day seems tough
Can't wait for bedtime.

It will come, don't worry
Time moves fast, it does
It'll arrive in a hurry
In my ear is already a buzz.
