This time of the night
I should be in bed,
But I am still awake
Bright-eyed and high.
Thinking about this, that
How the day has passed,
It's been good I must say
If only every day is so.
I'd wake up smiling
And go to bed the same,
Light-hearted all day
And not my grumpy self.
Will tomorrow be thus?
Dang, I do hope so!
But I really should sleep
And wait for morning.
