I look at my watch
It's past midnight,
In fact, closer to two
Yet, I'm wide awake.
Bright-eyed, bushy-tailed
I will suffer in the morning,
Hangover awaits, I know
But how to fall asleep?
Insomnia again, maybe
I need my knock out moment,
Send me to dreamland
Like right this second.
I'll shut off the lights now
And put aside my phone
Close my eyes to sleep
Good night, everybody.
