Depression

Depression

My brain is exploding,
It’s heavy with pain.
My neck is breaking,
I feel quite faint.

There is whispering in my ear,
Telling me it’s merciless outside.
It’s just what I want to hear,
So, I’m not going for a ride.

I’m in bed, tired,
It’s already 11a.m.
I don’t care if I’m fired,
After all, this world’s a sham.

You said things aren’t this bleak.
Do you expect me to believe?
You’re just another freak,
Who won’t give me relief.
