Counting down to Christmas
A season of merriment
Of sharing and giving
And a festive enjoyment.
Looking forward to this time
When we all get together,
Making way from near and far
To have fun and laughter.
12 Days to Christmas
How time seems to crawl,
Can't wait for the day to come
Party for everyone big and small.
For now, let's just live quietly
Until the arrival of a new dawn,
No point getting all hyper
Yet Christmas shopping mode: ON
