There was a time in history,
When I loved you to the core.
But friends could clearly see,
That you’re a super bore.

You talked big that year,
Were forever bragging,
Drank too much beer ---
My time with you was trying.
 
Guess I was overly hopeful,
That I could’ve you changed.
Instead of being thankful,
You made me deranged.

Months later, packed my bags,
This life I didn’t bargain for.
Still, you seriously made bets,
That I’ll be walking in the door.
