As I sit by the window
Catch the passing scenery;
Head filled with thoughts
That I can't shake off easily.
Of the past, present, future
Life that was, is and will be,
Something I cannot change
But everything that makes me.
My vision becomes blurry
While head begins to hurt,
Eyes close involuntarily
Have trouble staying alert.
Struggle on, I have to
Slog through the pain,
Move on like a robot
Sunny days after the rain.
