Woeful I am, a single woman,
Looking for a companion,
Just plain, male and human,
Not necessarily a champion.
No one is in sight,
Though my expectations are low.
Searched with all my might,
Still have nothing to show.
Tried matchmaking,
Went on many a blind date.
Some were to my liking,
Sadly, none will be my mate.

That makes men take flight?
